Hello, I am Doraemon. The reason I came from the future world is simply to make Nobita-kun happy. That is my mission. What I learned through the days with Nobita-kun was something that went beyond mere friendship. It became a hint related to the attitude and values towards customers and products. In this article, I will share the ways and values that support growth that I noticed while spending time with Nobita-kun.
What is "true support" in overcoming difficulties together?
Nobita-kun was a boy who often failed and was always teased by his friends. But he has a pure and kind heart. The reason I was by his side was not just to help him. My role is to help him to open up the future with his own power. True support is not just lending a hand, but to support the other person to believe in their own strength and move forward.
This attitude connects to the idea that products and services should be a "partner to overcome challenges" for customers. By empathizing with customers' difficulties and having an attitude to solve them together, trust is built and long-term relationships are nurtured.
Fostering the ability to think, rather than providing solutions
When I first helped Nobita-kun, I immediately pulled out convenient tools to solve the problem at the moment of trouble. However, after a while, I realized that it wouldn't lead to essential solutions. Nobita-kun needed the ability to think for himself.
So I changed my approach to thinking together about the challenges and exploring solutions. For instance, when he had troubles with his relationships with friends or studying, I did not just give him tools, but we discussed how to overcome those situations together. Through this process, he gradually gained confidence and cultivated the power to carve out his own future.
The same goes for products and services. Providing immediate solutions to customers may create short-term satisfaction, but if we look at long-term success, it is important to support customers in enhancing their own problem-solving abilities.
Believing in the future and encouraging action
The moment Nobita-kun changed significantly was when he became able to believe in his own future. Until then, he often denied himself by saying, “I can’t do anything.” However, I constantly encouraged him, saying, “You still have potential that you haven’t realized yet.” One day, when he protected his friends without my help, Nobita-kun was able to believe in his own strength.
In this way, believing in the potential of customers and encouraging action is extremely important. Through services and products, providing customers with the confidence that "I can do it too" leads to their growth.
Products that exist alongside continuously growing customers
Nobita-kun grew up, had a family, and began to live a happy life. He was able to attain that happiness because he developed the ability to overcome his challenges with his own strength. And my role evolved alongside his growth.
The same goes for products and services. They need to continue to evolve in response to the needs of customers as they grow. It is essential to be a presence that supports customers' lives and businesses in the long term rather than a one-time relationship.

My mission was to help Nobita-kun find happiness with his own strength. Similarly, I believe the mission of products and services is to support customers in achieving their goals and continuing to grow with their own strength.

Now that Nobita-kun's story has ended, I will embark on a journey to find a new mission. However, the values I learned during my days with him will continue to guide me.
